Ahead of the club's home match against the New England Revolution on Saturday night, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the injury status of the squad.

Overall Team Status
“We trained with 14 field players today and just like every other MLS team right now, everyone is feeling the effects of the schedule. There are tons of injuries throughout the league and players are being put through a lot and its been highly demanding and bodies are dropping quite quickly."

"Too many to report and we're thin just like every other team in the league right now. We aren't allowed to call up USL players which makes it challenging so we're trying to make it through the week of training and get as many healthy bodies ready. When I say it's lots of guys, they are minimal injuries and we're hoping to get some of them back by the weekend."

Jamiro Monteiro
“Jamiro is healthy which is good. I think on the TV feed you can read into when a guy goes down the tunnel and I'm guessing that a lot of people saw that but he is fully healthy. He's a guy that has logged a ton of minutes and in that instance I took him out because I thought the legs were going a little bit and we wanted to get some fresh bodies in so he's fine."

Kai Wagner
“He's working towards some fitness but it is still unclear exactly when he'll be ready to go. I don't anticipate him being ready for New England but I would say that Mbaizo has done a really good job and come in with Matthew [Real] as an option as well."
