Crozer Health Injury Report: Union at DC United

Ahead of the club's midweek rivalry showdown against D.C. United, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the injury status of the squad.

Warren Creavalle
“We lost Warren Creavalle last game and he’ll miss this one. If you remember on early in the game he had a very tough tackle with Piette and his ankle was injured on that play. To his credit he toughed things out in the first half and gave everything but couldn’t continue after halftime.”

Ray Gaddis
“Ray trained fully today and is getting closer. We will see if he is available for a few minutes against D.C. or if it’s a wait and hold until New England.”

Jakob Glesnes
“Jakob will be out as he’s not out of the concussion protocol yet. Hopefully New England is a real possibility for him.”

Ilsinho
“Ilsinho took a pretty hard knock right before we were subbing him out and unfortunately it’s a nasty one. His foot and every toe that he has is black and blue. We didn’t think he’d make it but he was out of the field today, ran around and got the blood flowing. I think he’ll be able to contribute against D.C. United.”

Jack de Vries and Cole Turner
“Both are back with us and training in full. They’ve had the last two day to fully train with us. Obviously they loose a little bit of fitness but that was a risk we were willing to take at the time to get them those two 90 minute games so we could evaluate them. Certainly they will both be on the bench because we don’t have enough guys to fill out the bench so those two will join us.”
