Philadelphia Union, partnering with TUDN, Allstate, and MLS WORKS, donated $2500 worth of soccer equipment to Los Lobos soccer club, a local Hispanic youth soccer organization.
TUDN works with Allstate and MLS WORKS to make a $500 donation for every save made during a MLS match broadcast on TUDN channels. Andre Blake made five saves during the Union's 0-0 draw with Atlanta United that was broadcast on TUDN on September 17, 2022.
The donations are meant to positively impact lives in Hispanic communities, and the Union chose to work with Los Lobos soccer club to provide soccer equipment so the Capitolo Playground-based club can continue to serve its community.
West Ham United joined the donation event and provided free water bottles to every child in attendance. Former West Ham striker Carlton Cole and Union Homegrown Quinn Sullivan conducted a Q&A session with the kids before scrimmaging in the Union Foundation's new Capitolo Playground minipitch.
