Philadelphia Union announced on Wednesday that it will host its Pinot on the Pitch event presented by Rally House during the Union’s road match against Orlando City SC on May 25. Those who purchase tickets will receive two complimentary drink tickets and a gift.
Along with watching the Union take on Orlando SC, attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy appetizers, vendors and raffle prizes.
“I’m truly looking forward to our first-ever Pinot on the Pitch, here at Talen Energy Stadium,” Chief Business Officer Tim McDermott said. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our organization to continue to build a strong relationship with our fan base. This event is unlike anything we’ve ever done before and I look forward to many more in the future.”
Union Insider and pregame host Marisa Pilla will be in attendance as the host of Pinot on the Pitch. Pilla will be conducting interviews throughout the night with participants, getting their reaction and feedback. Pilla expressed her feelings for the first ever Pinot on the Pitch event.
“I am personally so excited about the event because it’s exactly how I like to watch road games with my friends, a glass of wine, and some good food,” Pilla said. “It’s so much different than anything we’ve organized in the past and I hope our fans enjoy it.”
The Philadelphia Union return to Talen Energy Stadium this Saturday against San Jose Earthquakes. Kick is scheduled for 4 p.m. and will be broadcasted on 6abc. The club will continue their homestand on May 11 against LA Galaxy. Single game and group tickets are still available by visiting PhiladelphiaUnion.com/tickets or by calling 1-877-21-UNION.
