Union Team Huddle 2018

Union prepare for three-game road stretch

Philadelphia Union will kick off their three-game road stretch beginning this Friday when they travel north of the border to take on the reigning MLS Cup Champions, Toronto FC.

Following the match, the Union will return home to train and then head back on the road where they'll face off against Columbus Crew SC. The last time Philadelphia faced the Crew was earlier this season on March 17 at Talen Energy Stadium where the two clubs walked away with a nil-nil draw.

The Boys in Blue will then wrap up their busy three games in a short nine days back in Canada where they'll meet Montreal Impact for the first time this season.

For Head Coach Jim Curtin, it's important that each guy on the roster is prepared to step up if their name is called upon for any of these matches. Whether it's the Homegrowns, a veteran player or someone who hasn't seen the pitch yet this season, being ready is key in earning three points on the road.

Fans can catch the Union on PHL17 Friday against TFC at BMO Field. Kick off for the match is set for 8 p.m. ET.
