With the 2027 MLS Sprint Season transitioning into the 2027-2028 MLS season, we've updated the structure of your Season Ticket Membership to align with the new MLS calendar. Here are some of the key details about your 2027-2028 Season Ticket Membership.

We're also excited to introduce even more value for the upcoming season. You'll now have up to seven ticket exchanges or sell backs if you're unable to attend a match, giving you added flexibility throughout the season.

Your 2027-2028 Season Ticket Membership will still include all the benefits you know and love, and now you'll enjoy them for an additional six months. That means 18 months of your complimentary Apple TV MLS Season Pass subscription, a value of more than $230, 18 months of your 10% merchandise discount, exclusive Season Ticket Member events, and so much more.

MLS has released official details about how the 2027 Sprint Season will run. You can read the full article here, or see our cliff notes below:

• The Sprint Season will include 14 regular-season games, 7 home and 7 away. 

• The current conference format will remain in place. All 14 games will be played in-conference, one game against each conference opponent. 

• The regular season will begin in February and end in April, with the 2027 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs occurring in May.

• Eight teams in each conference will qualify for the playoffs, with a single-elimination playoff bracket (no Wild Card games or best-of-three First Round series).  

• An MLS Cup champion will be crowned, and the results of the Sprint Season will count toward qualification for Concacaf Champions Cup and Leagues Cup.

After a brief summer break, MLS will return in July to begin a full 34-game season under the new summer-to-spring competition calendar.

More details about the 2027-2028 MLS Regular Season are expected to be released in the coming months. Here’s the cliff notes version of what to expect for the 2027-2028 MLS Regular Season:

• 34 games played between mid-July and end of April, 17 home and 17 away 

• Two-month league-wide break between mid-December and mid-February 

• Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in May

• Opportunity to host every MLS team at least every other year

• The number of home games each month will remain relatively similar to the 2026 competition calendar

Your 2027-2028 Season Ticket Membership will have NO price increase per game for the sprint season and NO price increase per game for the 2027-2028 FIFA calendar season. Your total cost will be divided into 18 equal, interest-free payments, automatically charged at the end of each month, from August of 2026 through January of 2028.

Beginning July 1, 2026, the City of Chester implemented a 5% Amusement Tax on admission fees for ticketed events, sporting events, and entertainment to support schools and public safety. As required, this tax will be reflected in the cost of your 2027-2028 Season Ticket Membership.
