The NexGen League is a modern youth soccer platform designed to elevate player development, empower clubs, and deliver meaningful competition. Hosted by the Philadelphia Union at WSFS Bank Sportsplex, NexGen is built on a simple philosophy: When clubs collaborate, players thrive.

Club Requirements

NexGen clubs are committed to development and collaboration.

Participating clubs must:

• Clubs are asked to register a minimum of 5 teams
• U8–U15 (Fall–Spring)
• U16–U18 (Late Fall–Spring)

Clubs must also:

• Have a Director of Coaching or equivalent role
• Appoint one league representative for communication
• Attend bi-annual league meetings at WSFS Bank Sportsplex

• State Cup Qualifying
• Promotion & Relegation system between divisions
• Structured Fall and Spring seasons
• Age groups U8–U18
• Year-Long Season - One Registration

League Format

Season Timeline: September – May

U8 Juniors (5v5) Development-focused play day format.

• 2 Fall Play Days
• 2 Spring Play Days
• 3 games per play day

U8/U9 – U15

• 14 games total
• Fall and Spring seasons

U16 – U18

• 8 games total
• Late Fall and Spring

League Fees

U8 Juniors — $400
U8/U9 — $800
U10–U12 — $900
U13–U14 — $950
U15–U18 — $800

Additional fees:

• 1.9% processing fee for credit cards
• $10 GotSport fee on check payments

Payment & Refund Policy

• 50% of league fees must be paid within one week of registration
• Full payment due: August 1, 2026
• Teams not paid in full by August 1 will not be placed in divisions when flights are released.

Refund policy:

• Full refund if requested by July 18, 2026
• 50% refund if requested before August 8, 2026
• No refunds after August 8, 2026
