Philadelphia Union, in partnership with Boeing, today announced they will honor Military Appreciation with their annual Battle of the Branches 5v5 mini-soccer tournament on July 13, which will take place on the deck of the Battleship New Jersey.
In addition to the tournament, the event will conclude with a party with food and beverage and on the deck of the battleship.
The Union invites all active-duty military, as well as retired, reserve, DOD civilians, and friends and family playing in honor or memory of military members, in the Philadelphia-area, to assemble teams and compete in the tournament. There is no cost to register, and each player will receive a shirt, access to a meal and one drink ticket.
Date: Thursday, July 13th
Time: Tournament begins at 2 p.m. with the party to follow

The winning team will receive complimentary standing room only tickets to the Union’s Military Appreciation Game on Saturday, July 15th against NYCFC.
