The first full week of preseason has come to a close as Philadelphia Union took in another hard training session at the Union Training Complex in Chester on Friday.
Following a week of in-market training, the team will return to Clearwater, Fla., for their ninth season on Monday, January 16.
During their annual preseason trip, the club will participate in a total of seven preseason matches: Saturday, January 21 at 12:00 p.m. ET vs. Austin FC (IMG Academy); Tuesday, January 24 at 4:00 p.m. ET vs. ST. Louis CITY SC (Florida Gulf Coast University, Ft. Myers); Friday, January 27 at 11:00 a.m. ET vs. Minnesota United FC (University of Central Florida, Orlando); Sunday, February 5 at 12:00 p.m. ET vs. New England Revolution (Premier Sports Campus); Friday, February 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET vs. FC Cincinnati (Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex); Tuesday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. ET vs. Nashville SC (Al Lang Stadium); Saturday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. ET vs. Colorado Rapids (ChampionsGate Sports Complex).
Following their final preseason friendly on February 18, the Union will then return to Philadelphia to complete their preseason training ahead of their 2023 regular season home opener against Columbus Crew on February 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
All matches will be closed door matches, except for the Union’s match against FC Cincinnati at Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex on Friday, February 10 at 12:00 p.m., which will be open to the public.
