Luciano Acosta is a dangerous attacking midfielder, who set a career high in goals last season, finding the net five times for DCU in 2017. Acosta’s five goals were tied with Patrick Mullins for the club lead. In 30 games played last season, Acosta was able to steer 24 shots on goal as well as tallying five assists to his name. When the Union battles D.C. tomorrow in their first game of the preseason tournament, Acosta will be one player to keep an eye on.
