The starting XI for your Philadelphia Union features the debut of USMNT star Alejandro Bedoya.
Bedoya was acquired by Philadelphia on Aug. 3 in a trade with Chicago Fire for the first allocation spot. This will be the first MLS appearance for Bedoya after appearing in 87 matches in France. Joining Bedoya in the central midfield is Warren Creavalle.
Chris Pontius, Tranquillo Barnetta and Ilsinho will patrol the midfield for the Union tonight against the Revs. The trio has combined to score 14 goals and eight assists on the 2016 campaign. Pontius enters the match as the Union’s leading goal-scorer with nine. Up top for the Union is striker C.J. Sapong.
Defensively from left to right features Fabinho, Richie Marquez, Ken Tribbett and Keegan Rosenberry. The No. 3 overall pick in the MLS SuperDraft Rosenberry, is the only defender in MLS to record 2,000 minutes and record a goal and an assist this season.
In net for the Union is 2016 MLS All-Star Andre Blake. The only goalkeeper in MLS history to be selected No. 1 overall in the draft has had success against the Revs in his career, posting a 0.67 goals against average and earned a clean sheet in the last MLS regular season match against New England.
