Aaron Jones scores first professional goal for Bethlehem Steel FC

Bethlehem Steel FC had a free kick in the 51st minute of the team's match against Richmond Kickers. Trailing by a goal and about 25 yards out, it was the chance to strike. And boy did the team strike. 

Aaron Jones rifled a shot off the free kick, going upper 90 into the top left corner. The Kicker keeper didn't have a chance. It was his first professional goal, and tied the match for Steel FC. 

The goal proved to be beneficial to Steel FC, as it was the team's only one of the match. Steel FC drew Richmond 1-1, extending the team's unbeaten streak to six games. 

As for Jones, he's been a solid player for Steel FC this season. Drafted by the Union in the second round (33rd overall) in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, Jones has made 13 startsfor Steel FC this season at rightback, amassing more than 1150 games minutes. He has a 90 percent success rate on tackles, while chipping in with 22 clearances, 18 interceptions and a 73.7 percent passing accuracy.
