Swansea City AFC has officially landed in Philadelphia. The Union will take on the Swans in an international friendly during the Union’s Game of Thrones Night on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Fabianski also hopes that the opportunity for his team to play in the US will allow the club to head into a a new season on a strong note.
"I hope that we're able to get good results at the start of the season," Fabianski said. "I’m really happy that we came here."
Despite the high temperatures and summer heat conditions, Swansea Head Coach Paul Clement said coming to the US and playing the Union is a great opportunity for the team.
“I’ve always enjoyed coming to the States for preseason, I’ve done it a lot of times now,” Clement said. “There’s good crowds at the games, and people here in America are very passionate about the sport.”
The Swans have also welcomed new players to the team, and Clement hopes the match for will allow the team to develop new skills and ways to improve as they head into their new season.
“The objective tomorrow evening for the game is to really go 45-45,” Clement said. “We know the Philadelphia Union team are in season and going to be a lot fitter than us and stronger.”
