USMNT roster changes
The US Men's National Team Head Coach Bruce Arena has made six roster changes as the team approaches the quarterfinals of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. With a 2-0-1 record, the US finished at the top of Group B play and advanced to the knockout stage of the tournament. Houston Dynamo youth movement
The youth movement continues for the Houston Dynamo with the recent signing of midfielder Tomas Martinez as a Young Designated Player. The internationally experienced 22-year-old is a product of the Buenos Aires club River Plate and joins Houston's eight international players, all averaging 24.5 years old.
Gold Cup quarterfinal matchups

Transfer window updates
DC United officially waived Costa Rican forward Jose Guillermo Ortiz back to CS Herediano. In exchange for an international roster spot through the end of the 2017 season, DC also acquired $50,000 in allocation money from Columbus Crew SC.
As part of the league's plan to grow to 28 teams, MLS executives will visit two more expansion cities in Charlotte and Raleigh this week. Commissioner Garber said no team will enter the league without a stadium, and four teams will be selected out of the 12 that submitted bids. Two teams will then be slated to be confirmed by the end of 2017.
