Philadelphia dropped two spots in ESPN’s MLS Power Rankings from last week due to their off week. At ESPN the consensus is the club will move the needle once they return to the pitch. “The Union have to wait until next week to build on their Week 1 victory.”
MLS: No. 15
The Union moved up two slots on the league website as the MLS editors moved Philadelphia to number 15 on the list. As the Union prepare for their match this week against Columbus, MLS gave their insight on the club’s rare bye-week. “The Union were off this week, but they were no doubt paying close attention to how the Impact played their next opponent, Columbus. The bye may give Borek Dockal the time to get ready for his MLS debut.”
