TEAM NOTES

Union forward Cory Burke started his first MLS match today, and scored his first goal, becoming the 101st player to start a regular-season match for Philadelphia, and the 61st to score for the club… midfielder Marcus Epps also made his first start of the season.

Andre Blake made four saves in today’s match en route to his third clean sheet of the season and the 20th of his career … he is the second goalkeeper in Union history to reach 20 shutouts (Zac MacMath, 28).

Today’s game was the seventh Union match all-time that saw at least one member of each team sent off … the last such match was June 27, 2015, also against Montreal (at Talen Energy Stadium), when both Patrice Bernier and Eric Ayuk saw red.

The Union return home for their next match when they face Real Salt Lake at Talen Energy Stadium on Saturday, May 19 (7:30 p.m. ET / PHL17).
